Understanding Stress & Anxiety and Coping with Change:
This module takes you on a journey towards understanding the neurochemical process of stress and explores the function of our sympathetic and parasymathetic nervous systems. It also provides an understanding of how stress and amxiety are integral to our survival mechanism and thorugh this great understanding it empowers us to take control of and mange the negative effects of stress and anxiety.
Labyrinth Meditative Training:
This module will show how to create and use a Labyrinth. Labyrinths are currently being used world-wide as a way to quiet the mind, recover a balance in life, and encourage meditation, insight, self-reflection, stress reduction. The practice of labyrinth walking integrates the body with the mind and the mind with the spirit. Labyrinths can be found in medical centers, parks, churches, schools, prisons, memorial parks, spas, cathedrals and retreat centers as well as in people's backyards and living spaces.
Self Awareness & Mental/Emotional Management:
This module is an exploration of the 'self' and the process of change that takes place as we journey through life. It discusses the philosophy of René Descartes, Issac Newton, Albert Einstein and many more who have contributed to an examination of 'who we are' and 'why'. It is a considerate, safe and enjoyable approach to gently looking at what makes us all tick.
Yoga Meditation & Relaxation:
In this module we learn to focus on our bodies and feelings. Through this focus we learn to release the thoughts and quiet the mind. To be present in the moment. In this moment of deep meditation we can learn to be at peace, no matter what is happening in our life.
